How is cast iron cookware made?
It starts with genetic makeup. I’m made from recycled materials, such as raw iron (affectionately called ‘pig iron’), scrap steel, and recycled iron, Lodge melots these together, then pours me into a sand mold that determines my cookware fate.
THE RESULT? Me! 2 pieces of iron with 4 uses and endless possibilities.
